Scott Zemnick joined VPC in 2008 and is the General Counsel. He oversees the firm’s legal operations and the structuring, negotiation, execution and protection of the firm’s investment portfolio. He is an ex officio member of the firm’s investment committees.
Previously, Mr. Zemnick was a partner in the Restructuring Group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focused on representing large domestic and international debtors, lenders, and strategic and financial investors in complex Chapter 11 bankruptcies, out-of-court restructurings, distressed investments, and other corporate and financing matters.
Mr. Zemnick received a B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan and a J.D. with high honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was selected to the Order of the Coif. He is an active member of the Illinois bar.
Jeff Schneider joined VPC in 2010 and is the Chief Financial Officer. He oversees the accounting, tax, finance, treasury and fund operations of the firm and assists in the structuring of VPC’s investments. Mr. Schneider is a member of the valuation committee and ex officio member of the investment committee.
Previously, Mr. Schneider served as the controller/vice president of corporate finance for Citadel Group’s fund administrator Omnium, now Northern Trust Hedge Fund Services, LLC, where he oversaw the development and build out the firm’s corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and planning processes. Previously, he was an auditor in the Investment Banking Group at JP Morgan Chase and led a middle office supporting a large proprietary commercial mortgage backed securities portfolio. Mr. Schneider also has held various finance and accounting roles at Divine, a start-up software company, and was an auditor at Arthur Andersen.
Mr. Schneider received a B.S. in accountancy from the University of Illinois. He is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois.
Troy Jamison joined VPC in 2017 and is the Chief Risk Officer. His responsibilities include assessment and management of risk within the firm's credit and equity portfolios, as well as sourcing, evaluating and executing investments and assisting portfolio companies with strategic initiatives.
Mr. Jamison has more than 20 years of experience in financial services. Most recently, he served as a Senior Advisor with boutique credit risk consultancy 2nd Order Solutions. Prior to consulting, Mr. Jamison was a Managing Vice President and Credit Officer for Capital One. During this time, he led a wide variety of functions focusing on credit risk and analytics across various lending products, in multiple segments, in the U.S. and internationally.
Mr. Jamison graduated from The University of Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Highest Distinction in Electrical Engineering.
Ron Rolighed joined VPC in 2015 and is a Principal. He is primarily responsible for new business development, investor relations, and client servicing. Mr. Rolighed is also involved in developing new investment strategies and institutional product offerings. Previously, Mr. Rolighed was a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Mira Capital Advisors L.L.C., a boutique placement agency and advisory firm for emerging alternative investment firms.
Prior to forming Mira, Mr. Rolighed was a Partner at Aurora Investment Management, a fund of hedge funds based in Chicago. At Aurora Mr. Rolighed oversaw the firm's growth from a $1B AUM organization which catered primarily to private investors, to a $10B+ AUM organization serving a wide range of institutional investors all over the world and earning a top ten global ranking.
Mr. Rolighed began his career with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, where he was responsible for the supervision and regulation of larger banks' proprietary trading and risk management activities.
Mr. Rolighed received a BA in Economics and Finance from the University of Northern Iowa and a MBA from Indiana University.
Matt Coad joined VPC in 2008 and is a Vice President. He is primarily responsible for investor relations as well as marketing and communications for the Firm.
Mr. Coad is also actively involved in sourcing and fundraising for Victory Park Funds and assists with portfolio management and industry research.
Previously, Mr. Coad was a Credit Products Underwriter in the Middle Market Commercial Banking Group at Bank of America where he specialized in structuring and executing senior debt transactions. Prior to joining Bank of America, he completed the Commercial Banking Development Program at LaSalle Bank.
Mr. Coad received a B.S. in finance from West Virginia University.
Stefanie Loren joined VPC in 2017 and is a Marketing Associate. She is primarily responsible for marketing and communications for the firm.
Previously, Ms. Loren was the marketing and operations associate at Greenbriar Asset Management LP, where she was responsible for marketing as well as trading and fund operations. Prior to joining Greenbriar, Stefanie held roles in the investment banking division of William Blair and subsequently at Robert W. Baird.
Ms. Loren graduated with honors from the University of Illinois, where she received a B.S. in psychology with a minor in communications.
Terry Walters joined VPC in 2011 and serves as the Controller. He is primarily responsible for the accounting, finance and treasury operations of the Firm. Mr. Walters also serves as the Compliance Manager.
Previously, Mr. Walters was a Vice President in Financial Control for Citadel Group’s fund administrator Omnium, where he was responsible for the financial reporting and investor accounting of Citadel’s hedge funds and broker-dealer entities. He also held a senior auditor position with the Banking & Capital Markets practice at Ernst & Young LLP, where he specialized in investment banking and financial services clients.
Mr. Walters received a B.S. in accountancy and finance from Augustana College and a Masters of Accountancy from the University of Iowa. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the State of Illinois.
Joel Hart joined Victory Park Capital in 2014 and is a credit risk manager. He is responsible for monitoring and oversight of the Victory Park Capital portfolio companies from initial due diligence through the entire course of the relationship.
Previously, Mr. Hart was a manager in the Risk and Compliance practice at global consulting firm, Protiviti where he specialized in credit risk and lender due diligence for asset securitizations and other structured finance transactions.
Mr. Hart received a B.S. in finance and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Illinois. He is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois and Certified Financial Risk Manager.
Tom Gazdziak joined VPC in 2015 and is an Assistant Fund Controller. He leads the accounting, finance, reporting and treasury related activities for various Victory Park Capital funds, including directing the third-party fund administrator to prepare the fund financial and investor statements, compiling internal and external reporting and assisting with audits of the funds. He also assists with valuation and performance analytics for Victory Park Capital investments.
Previously, Mr. Gazdziak was an assurance senior associate within the Financial Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in the banking and capital markets industry.
Mr. Gazdziak received a B.S. in accountancy and finance and a MBA in accountancy and financial analysis from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
Andrew Murray joined VPC in 2014 and is a Vice President of Operations. He leads the cash forecasting, valuation, investment allocation, performance analytics and internal reporting processes for the Victory Park Capital investments and funds.
Previously, Mr. Murray was an associate at Scout Capital Management, LLC covering the operations, risk management and trade support functions of the firm. He also worked as a senior operations analyst at Highland Capital Management, L.P.
Mr. Murray received a B.S. in business management from Providence College.
Matt Schick joined VPC in 2013 and is a Fund Controller. He oversees the fund accounting team in the execution of accounting, finance, tax, audit, reporting and treasury related activities for the Victory Park Capital funds.
Previously, Mr. Schick was an audit manager within the Financial Services practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in the asset management industry.
Mr. Schick received a B.S. in accountancy and a minor in economics from The Ohio State University. He is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the states of Illinois and Ohio.
Jitin Garg joined VPC in 2016 and is a Vice President of Finance. He is responsible for various accounting and FP&A activities of the firm.
Previously, Mr. Garg was a Vice President at GCM Grosvenor, where he was responsible for forecasting, budgeting, and reporting. He also led various operational projects and initiatives. Prior, he was the FP&A Manager at Citadel, LLC where he was responsible for the firm’s corporate financial planning and analysis function. Mr. Garg has also held various finance and project management roles at HSBC North America. He started his career as a forensic accountant with Deloitte Financial Advisory Services and Huron Consulting Group.
Mr. Garg received a B.S. in Accountancy with Honors and a B.S. in Finance with Honors from the University of Illinois. He is a registered CPA in the state of Illinois and a CFA charterholder.
Laura Woolf joined VPC in 2013 and is an Assistant Corporate Controller. She is responsible for performing various accounting, finance and compliance activities of the firm.
Previously, Ms. Woolf was a senior associate within the audit practice at Deloitte & Touché LLP, specializing in the manufacturing industry.
Ms. Woolf received a B.S. and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Illinois. She is a registered Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.
Brittany Bales joined VPC in 2017 and is a Fund Accountant. She assists with accounting, finance, reporting and treasury related activities for various Victory Park Capital funds, including working with the third-party fund administrator to prepare the fund financial and investor statements, compiling internal and external reporting and assisting with audits of the funds.
Previously, Ms. Bales was an audit associate within the Financial Services practice at Deloitte & Touche LLP, specializing in the investment management industry.
Ms. Bales graduated from The University of Texas at Austin, where she received a BBA in accountancy and a Masters in Professional Accounting.
Jack VadeBoncouer joined VPC in 2017 and is a Fund Accountant. He assists with accounting, finance, reporting and treasury related activities for various Victory Park Capital funds, including working with the third-party fund administrator to prepare the fund financial and investor statements, compiling internal and external reporting and assisting with audits of the funds.
Previously, Mr. VadeBoncouer was an audit senior associate within the Asset Management practice at KPMG LLP, specializing in the investment management industry.
Mr. VadeBoncouer received a B.S. and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Illinois.
Noel Catrambone joined VPC in 2017 as the Vice President of Information Technology. He is responsible for establishing the firm’s technical vision and leading all aspects of the firm’s technological development.
Mr. Catrambone brings over 25 years of IT and management experience to Victory Park. He was previously a Director at Kingsway Financial Services where he was responsible for the firm’s technology infrastructure and worked directly with Kingsway’s operating entities helping to standardize IT operations across the enterprise. Prior to Kingsway, he managed US IT operations at Foxx-Pitt, Kelton, now Macquarie Financial Institutions Group, and was a Vice President and founder at Oronova Inc., a Chicago-based IT and management consulting firm.
Mr. Catrambone studied Business Administration at Loyola University Chicago.
